We're GROWING!!

Through our partnerships with Public Allies Delaware (PADE) and the University of Delaware's Center for Community Research and Development, WOLDE will add four new staff members, bringing the total count to SIX!

Specifically, through the Public Allies Program, Kristy Godfrey, Shaquona Meyers, and Tara Sutton will help the organization build it's capacity in the areas of youth proramming, career counseling, marketing, and advocacy.
Kristy was with us last year as a Public Ally and returns to us as a "Second Year Ally". This year she will focus on marketing, while Tara works on advocacy objectives and Shaquona oversees our Project Access! Online Learning Program. In addition to their individual objectives, all three will provide career counseling services, plan and execute our first every Walk for Working Poor event (June 08), and manage and develop our recently launched youth initiative called the Young Sisters' Circle.

PADE is an AmeriCorps program giving young adults emerging into the workforce exposure to the opportunities within the nonprofit sector, while also helping to build capacity of the partner organization.

In addition to these three individuals, Emily Cress joins our team to assist us with development and fundraising efforts. Emily is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Community Development.

These four dynamic and dedicated women join Program Manager Amy Richardson, and Jennifer Rehm-Clark, Founder/Executive Director.
